Telekom Srbija, the second Serbian GSM network, has only five customers
yet when it opened it had hoped to have 25,000 by the year end. According
to a Reuter report from the country, in the first two weeks of operation the
company only sold five GSM SIM cards while its rival signed up nearly
10,000 customers in the same time period. Reuter quoted an unnamed
source as saying: "Telekom is absolutely uncompetitive. Its prices are
prohibitively high.
