Hi Steve - If it had a recording time of 11 minutes, then it will take 11 minutes to download. I do not believe it has compression. NCI's Patent covers removable flash voice media. Steve, I think you have it wrong. NCI is not behind in the industry, it is leading the way. Our problem is getting it marketed. With the Thin Spin chip/clip with Norris' Operating System you have a recording time of over 30 hours and download to a computor in minutes. With that voice machine, can it edit the material it downloaded?? I do not think so. I think inabout six months or so, we will know if we have a hit or miss tho. By that time, we should have at least one license agreement with a big outfit. Overhead should be reduced with Voice-it doing the manufacturing. I believe the company will provide the Board and it will be put together overseas and shipped back. Just a guess since the company has the expensive COB. Jim Jim
