Non-IDCN post: The hottest brat toy for Christmas is going to be the FURBIE, a little Gizmo-like toy, looks like the creature from the "Gremlins Movie" - before it turns evil.

The toy talks FURBISH (gibberish, really), then gradually learns English. Purrs when you pet its back, laughs when you tickle it, etc -- list retail is $39. Comes in over 100 color combinations.

This toy will make sales of Beanie Babies, Sony Playstations, look silly. Will be IMPOSSIBLE to buy one near Christmas. They start shipping soon -- "stocked" on shelves in Nov. -- where they won't last a minute.

If Arnold Schwarzenegger thought a Turboman was hard to find .....

Now, to the point: The company that makes this is TIGER ELECTRONICS. Apparently, either TIGER or their parent(?) is publically traded. Worth checking out if you have some time.

If true (publically traded) the stock will skyrocket when preliminary sales figures to retail outlets is released. The inventor is just that -- a one-man "inventor" -- he is gonna be a very rich SOB.

Call a local toy store near you and ask them if they think they'll sell any. Do some DD, may be interesting investment or toy for your crumb-snatcher.

Note: The hundred color combinations is marketing magic -- -- will turn buyers into "collectors" like the Beanie Babies. If you hear that these things are on sale, go to the toy store and buy as many as you can get your hands on -- or afford. Re-sell for $100-200+ each - easy - or keep as a collector. Some beanie babys that sold for $15 two years ago are worth $750+ !!!!!!
