Ed, to be honest with you, it happened so fast I'm not sure. but I do know that Gomez's throw was wild. I don't recall them replaying it on the view screen so you probably had a better chance to see what happened than I did.

I tried to get World Series tickets last night but there was a crowd in excess of 10,000, probably closer to 15,000, at Qualcomm Stadium waiting to buy tickets. Imagine a line that circled the stadium more than twice and you have a picture of the crazy scene. At least the crowd was friendly. All we needed were two baseball teams on the field. :-) If the Padres don't make it to the Series, there's going to be a huge refund line. That's one line that I won't have to stand in.
