tom: I arranged the Oct 8th trip with Terry Goodbody, the VP of development. His secretary (or, perhaps THE Veronex secretary?) was supposed to call me the following week to arrange flight information, etc. She didn't do that. Purely coincidentally, our new home move-in date was shifted from early September to Oct 9th because of some last minute (week, actually) construction crew availability problems. So, I wasn't a bit perturbed about not having an out of town demo to attend the day before our move. I was, however, more than a bit perturbed with the lack of followup by Veronex. If an onsite demo visit slips through the cracks, I'm wondering how big the cracks are? I'm patiently waiting to see if anybody from Veronex calls to see why I didn't show up. If nobody calls, then the scheduling for the visit was never actually done ... which makes me think the foul-up was with the VP of development and not with the secretary. Or, they were just giving me lip service to put me off for a while, hoping I'd just give up. Whatever ... TED
