Jon..In re: Ericsson's commitment to R & D -- once scorned by Wall Street -- has made it the clear leader in cellular technology ... with a proprietary operating system, called TDMA, that is fast becoming the world-standard, as VHS became the standard for VCRs. I received the same 'mail' several months ago and thought the same things you probably did until I also got to the above paragraph. This guy is way out of it or he had a bunch of these letters left over from the early nineties and thought he'd save a few bucks. Of course, those not as smart as we might have been enticed into a subscription.(ggg). luck K
