(NewsTraders) -- General Nutrition Companies Inc. (GNCI) director David Lucas bought 55,000 shares of common stock between September 11 and September 21 at a range of $10.97 to $12.86 per share, according to a Form 4 released Tuesday by the SEC.

Lucas owned 130,710 shares after the transaction.
