  With extensive worldwide experience in enterprise software solutions, Shackleton has held a number of executive positions at companies such as Platinum Technology Solutions, Oracle and Sybase. Shackleton joins Open Text from Platinum, where he was President of the Platinum Solutions division for two years. Shackleton was also on the management team of Viewstar, one of the first document management companies in the industry.
