The Financial Post reports in its Wednesday edition that Canada's first diamond mine begins production on Wednesday in a market more sluggish than sparkling. Reporter Keith Damsell notes that Graham Nicholls, spokesman for Australia's mining giant Broken Hill Proprietary, says the market is soft right now.
