Ken, A good open minded post you put up. I just thought I would add a few comments regarding the conference call. It was as I understand it primarily geared to bring some new investors up to speed on DCI that wanted to talk with the company and this method was obviously more effecient than taking one call at a time. From what I heard: The history of the company was discussed, as was the general game plan for DCI of which we are all aware. (very similar to the annual meeting speech) Nothing about the QP was discussed. A couple things that we all might find of interest that were in the call:

1. It was confirmed in my mind that the series F will be bought back as has already been indicated on the DCI website. It's my opinion that DCI has a sufficient number of existing options to raise the cash for that buyback, not to mention possible future developments (my speculation that they exist) that I feel we are covered on this one. (no pun intended for the shorties (G))

2. It was confirmed that there are absolutely no intentions of doing a reverse split to get our stock price back up.

3. As we have already heard through other channels, it was confirmed that DCI should be profitable in the quarter ended Dec. 31, and it just gets better from there.

4. It was explained that because of the QP, that it was not possible for DCI employees to purchase stock currently and that as contained in the filings, DCI employees are not highly paid and are relying (as we are) to benefit from the returns on the DCTC stock/options that they own as shown in the recent filings. Perhaps we all fail to realize how much initial personal wealth, sweat and blood has been put into building DCI by it's founders...

I know that a number of other companies I have been in have had conference calls with groups of investors and I never recieved any official notice, so I believe that this practice is common place.

James
