Hi everyone.

I'm looking for help regarding subscriptions in MS Internet Explorer 4.0.

I would like to automatically download about 7 web pages every morning on command, as I get data from each one that I input into a spreadsheet.

It seems that this is what "subscriptions" is meant to do, but I'm having trouble making it work.

Problem 1:
I've 'subscribed' to a number of web pages manually from out of my favorites list. If I click Favorites/Update All Subscriptions, then the updating begins. But the list shown while updating includes several websites that MS must have put in by default. So, now I try to delete those websites for the next time I update. I go to Favorites/Manage Subscriptions. In there, I see only one of the websites that I subcribed to , as well as Desktop.ini.

Can anyone help me?

If you can, I have some more questions.

thanks, peter
