Your point on the VIX seems right on. Hard to believe that trend would follow 3 straight times.

given year over year eps changes AND in view of 1999 forecasted eps, there is no fundamental reason for market to anywhere other than down.. That is why it will go up.

Thread quiet.. too many Oct puts resident on this thread me thinks.
