Having similar problems getting the AGP card (ATI Rage LT Pro) to work in the Compaq 5635 along with another PCI card (Creative Banshee). The AGP card works fine when installed by itself. After installing a PCI card, the the system boots up on the monitor attached to the PCI card and an message is displayed on the original monitor attached to the AGP card saying to adjust settings. The system device manager has the original AGP card tagged and suggests removal of memory management in Config.sys.

Tried suggestions such as this and at support.atitech.ca

The second monitor icon never appears.
Was hoping it would be plug and plug. Perhaps the Compaq enhanced drivers don't support multi-monitors. Do not see drivers avaliable for the ATI Rage LT Pro at ATIs website. Maybe the LT means Limited. Tried another driver that is supported the monitor worked but it still did not get the other monitor working.

Any suggestions? Any one have a plug and play experience with 1 PCI card and 1 AGP card?
