jb - I agree 100%

I work in semi....not good.
AMAT, Lam, Utek, ..... layoffs

I can not think of another semiconductor company in this industry that I would want to own for the long term. Come to think of it, it is the only one I own outright!

btw....if Intel is making money selling cheapo chips then you'd think the boxmakers will do ok? and Microsquash will also do well? I guess I should hold on to my IBM and HWP as they are still looking like good value, eh?

semicaps usually follow Intel by 6 months, I have a chart somewhere on my site showing this..... Look for AMAT, Utek, Lrcx, etc. to start up in the next 6 months. Gee.... maybe these guys hammering brinker might have to find someone else to complain about as it looks like he might be right! Put Dipy and skeetter back into their bottles until BB, oh my, makes another mistake in a series of mostly very good market calls.

regards
Kirk
