CSI Credit Systems International Inc. ("CSI") announces the launch of CSI's first ERNEX(tm) program in the United States with Family Golf Centers, Inc.("Family Golf") of New York.
Family Golf will initially install 12 pilot locations with the ERNEX service in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. An expected rollout to all Family Golf locations will occur after the successful completion of the three-month pilot. Any golfer will have the opportunity to become a member of the "Family Golf Rewards Club" for a small fee. Membership has been designed to offer golfers both immediate and long-term rewards. ERNEX will enable the real-time fulfillment of this program by pushing messages out to the customer alerting them when they are eligible for their benefits.
These benefits can either be redeemed immediately or the next time they visit any Family Golf location. ERNEX will track purchases made by product category and will send up-to-the-minute point balances, which will be printed on the member's receipt.
Family Golf will operate the ERNEX service on CSI's GT-100 transaction terminal. CSI will derive revenue through the rental of GT-100 terminals, transaction fees and management of the Family Golf Rewards Program. Family Golf owns and operates 116 golf centers, including 21 Golden Bear Golf Centers licensed from Jack Nicklaus' licensing company, Golden Bear International. The centers are devoted to offering a variety of high quality golfing experiences to every member of the family, regardless of age or skill level. Each of the centers in the company's expanding national network provides a selection of practice opportunities including a year-round driving range, facilities for chipping, putting, pitching and sand play, golf instruction and clinics, a miniature and/or par-3 golf course, well-equipped pro shop and snack bar.
