Globe says airline check-in kiosk venture set AIT Advanced Information Technologies AIV Shares issued 6,015,500 Oct 13 close $0.25 Wed 14 Oct 98 In the News The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday edition that Markham, Ontario-based IBM Canada and AIT Advanced Information Technologies of Ottawa have agreed to develop self-service check-in kiosks for a major international airline. The kiosks will incorporate AIT's PAX reader technology. IBM's customer check-in kiosk lets airline passengers bypass the check-in desk and obtain a boarding pass more easily.
