I need help with basing period breakouts. I'm trying to find a good basing breakout search criteria. I use MSWIN 6.0 and find when I do a search(explorations) many stocks that should fit criteria, don't show up in my searches. Could anyone give me a few pointers on what to look for. I do searches on anywhere between 40-100 days basing period and a 10-20 percent trading range before breakout. If there is someone who can point me in the right dierection I would be grateful. Although I'm not new to technical analysis, I am however new to computerized searches(explorations) and certain triggers to use. Thanks
