Margin, ***OT***** Sorry, just one more rant. Today, Pisani discussing Mirage Resort's new casino about to debut in Vegas. Twice in the 3 minute report he actually says, and I paraphrase: with a worldwide recession, how can Mirage hope to blah blah blah. Worldwide Recession?? Huh? Lest I be accused of wearing those rose tinteds---I have no doubt we are slowing down. And a large number of companies will be negatively impacted. But to proclaim 1% to 2% growth here and in Europe recessionary is irresponsible. Whats even more mind bogglng listening to this blather is that, at worst, this earnings season a mixed one with some unexpected surprises ( Intel, Ford, Apple ( huh? ), Novellus ( double huh!) and Altera. L
