chuz, what was said at the Alex Brown conference was that SOME component prices were firming while OTHERS continued to fall (they would not specify which). it wasn't Michael Dell speaking either. Dell maintains that component prices have been falling 1% a week this quarter (last quarter it was only 1/2%, so they were seeing an increase in the rate of falling prices). This was also stated, but not reported.
