I don't own either INTC or AMD and have no ax to grind. I follow AMD and this thread out of general interest and because I think it is good for there to be at least two viable suppliers in a market.

I don't however see how anyone can believe that Intel's dominance of the market and ability to control margins has not been effected by AMD's success in selling the K6.
