That was a bullish conference call if I ever heard one. Sales in Japan and Europe up. New Fortune 500 customers, Happy Scopus customers upgrading to Siebel 99. License revenue in either Q4 or Q1 99 more than all of Oracle Application revenue. Talk of being the #2 ERP vendor in the near future. No slowdown in license revenue, large increase in professional services revenue. Siebel sees NO threat from Oracle. NO Y2K problems, never a discussion as far as purchasing Siebel. SAP, potential competitor but viewed as NO threat, as far as SAP release, no threat this decade. SAP's largest customers(Siemens, Duetch Telecom) already Siebel customers. New products to offer customers. Anyone disagree with my assessment? Regards John
