Bellcore Takes Action Against Fore Systems on Patent Infringements
Seeks Damages and Injunctive Relief
MORRISTOWN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 14, 1998--Bellcore filed a lawsuit today in U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware against Fore Systems, Inc. of Warrendale, Pennsylvania for patent infringement. In the lawsuit, Bellcore accused Fore Systems of infringing four Bellcore patents covering a broad range of telecommunication network management and transport technologies, including asynchronous transfer mode (ATM), SONET, and LAN technologies.
