I have been following this stock since my x-roommate started it with some other people from Tektronix. I didn't have $ to invest then - just watched. It has always had wide swings in its price...no matter what is actually going on within the company. They are very well liked here in the Northwest (I live in Portland, near their home). Now I own 3,800 shares at an average of 9.44 and, like last year, expect it to go to 18 sometime in '97. I don't have any reason other than it just always does. Value Line reminds me that a few years ago it traded at 5 (briefly). I bought some and I will buy more if it ever does that again. My investment style is based on about 1 year. Once I had to hold this stock 15 months in order to double my money...still not bad. I think 9 1/2 is a good price now.
