It's not like these shares are out of circulation forever. They will be given to employees, who in turn will sell them on open market.

In the end, the numbr of shares will remain constant, and a lot of cash your shares have "earned" will disappear from your pockets and appear in the pockets of Intel employees.

Just about every high tech company is in on it. The goal of the game is to rip off the shareholders.
