International Tasty Fries Inc. Makes Announcement
VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 14, 1998--International Tasty Fries Inc. (NASD BB:TSTY) (the "company"), is pleased to report further developments in association with its recently announced agreement with San Diego-based Skyline Records Inc. ("Skyline") for participation in the new "hip-hop" music albums being produced and distributed by Skyline for the group of artists known as Filtered Souls.
Filtered Souls artist "Mad One," whose song "Psycho" was the subject for one of the initial three music videos completed by Skyline, has had the music rights acquired for use by Time Warner's subsidiary, WCW, the highly popular television broadcast wrestling series.
Mad One, and his song Psycho, are slated to premier Oct. 19, 1998, on TBS, followed on Oct. 22, 1998, on TNT, and on a special Pay-Per-View event "Live from Las Vegas" scheduled for Oct. 25, 1998. Future broadcast dates are being scheduled and will be announced as determined.
WCW star "Konnan" was in San Diego last weekend shooting the new video with Mad One for WCW broadcasts. The production contract for the new music video was awarded by WCW to Fortress Entertainment Group Inc., and was directed by Devin DeHaven, who directed the original Mad One video, as well as the other videos for Filtered Souls artist Johnny Rourke and Black Mikey. Mad One is also developing a "Konnan" theme song for possible future projects with WCW.
The events serve as an excellent forerunner for the upcoming release of the first album by Filtered Souls, entitled "Family Business," to be released this fall.
