There were actually some lunatics buying that amount of calls? It boggles my mind. I believe we are getting close to the moment of truth - the moment of Great Reckoning after years of easy money and speculative mania. Get out your sackclothes and ashes ( if you are long in stocks like AMZN)! Personally, I would like to take some time out to mourn those idealistic, (now proven to be) foolhardy, and even suicidal AMZN October out of money puts (reminds me of Kamikaze pilots, really). May they rest in peace......... You will not be forgotten in annals of brave battles against speculative mania.
