Giving lectures about Buddhism at prisons? That sounds like a really wonderful idea, Craig. At the risk of saying something controversial, I like the ideals of peace and nonviolence and self-awareness seeping into this population of troubled souls. Sometimes I feel like prison conversions to Christianity come either from the desire to look good at a parole hearing, or from thrashing around lost in guilt. Christianity is sort of black and white for me, while Buddhism is complex and grey and requires thought and a real spiritual growth spurt to process. It's really admirable that you are doing these good works. Thanks so much!!
