To all - regarding that YHOO piece purporting to explain why QCOM was up in price today -- with the warning that I tend to never read carefully these long-winded, heavy-duty legal or technical things that various people put on the thread (but, please keep it up; I'm sure they are very useful to others) ... I could not tell the difference between that YHOO piece's "big news" (sometimes called "Zbignews" (as in Jimmy Carter's advisor) by my favorite college roommate from years ago) (yes, I realize I'm being a major windbag right now, but those hypnotic waves from New Zealand are reaching me right now) ... Anyway, I read the YHOO piece and thought "So ?" It seemed to be just a reprint of stuff we've all already read from QCOM. Am I missing something ? I do not think it explained today's price action in QCOM. More buyers than sellers is still my best guess (especially given today's heavy trading volume). Jon.
