Hi JT There was some real strength in the run today. The old DOW theory would say this is the kind of strength that makes for a bull run. I figure one of 2 things will take place here. 1 the market will run like it started to late Jan of this year or 2 within the next day or two (possibly Monday, for the sake of all of those October puts) the market will pull back hard. I think most likely 2 with a upward run after that. Which will work out well for me. I do like to try to time the dip .. it will take about six days for the complete transaction for me to move from the bonds to the stocks. At that point perhaps my two magic lines will have crossed. About a year ago I had been playing this etrade game .. in this game they would set each of up with a play account with $100k on the first of each month. The person with the most in the account at the end of the month would win a prize. I never came in first .. was many times at the top of the list, but never at the end of the month. I was posting on the Yahoo Intel thread at the time. One day, just for fun, I clipped my game portfolio, converted it into a web page and posted it on my web page. Over 600 people looked at it during the next 24 hours. It was interesting to note the government sites that were looking ... I understand that the TSO thread that I post to sometimes has been bookmarked by over 1700 persons .. Yes .. sometimes they really are out to kick your a$$... So who knows .. perhaps I'm short now <g> Oh yes .. the reason that these people looked .. every other month my game account was well over $200k .. at the time of that post I think that I was ~450k...in less that 30 days.
