Never understood the appeal of MP3's?

Let's face it, music isn't exactly expensive. Most CDs retail for around $14 or so, and it is possible to buy singles for much less

Why pay $14 for something you can get for free?

MP3s provide "near-CD" quality

Good MP3s are = or even better than CD

Music compressed using MP3 compression won't satisfy audiophiles accustomed to uncompressed, unfiltered sound quality.

All the audiophilez I know prefer mp3 over any other format.

MP3 will not go away, If DIMD doesnt jump on the bandwagon, someone else will.
