David says: "Hmm. So was the co. lying (as they all do) when it said it was unaware of any reason for the recent drop its shares?"

David, I was struck with the same reaction -- in fact I may have a stronger reaction since I am actually quite angry at the CEO (Klaus) having made such a statement back in September. He knew full well what was going on.

So, I now have good reason to doubt management's credibility. Normally, I would dump a stock at the first signs of such dishonesty, but at the current price, it seems only prudent to hold. However, I will be more susupicious of management and will re-evaluate this holding on an ongoing basis.

That said, it seems this acquistion makes business sense, even if PSQL overpaid and will suffer in the short term for it.
