To All:

One might want to keep in mind that PJTV is not in this alone. TXN has MILLIONS of DOLLARS invested in DLP and is committed to making sure it works! While the display projector (NVUE, InFocus, Proxima) appear to be having success with their DLP based prjectors, that market is nothing compared to the television market. TI knows that if PJTV has a successful launch - others will follow. That is a boon to TI and they'll see DLP go crazy! (remember, Digital TV is just now arriving - just think what TV will be like with a digital signal AND a digital picture).

My point is, PJTV has some deep and powerful pockets hell-bent on its success. TI won't place key people in this new business just to turn their back on emerging OEM's. TI has sent products to market that did not work and got burned badly for it. I hope and suspect that they have learned from past mistakes and told PJTV - we will not sell this product until all the bugs are worked out. Remember - this stuff is brand spanking new - never been done. There's bound to be some unknowns to work through. This ain't rocket science you know - we've been doing that for 40 years!

Be patient - this will work....

Regards,
Alan
