Unlike SAP, PSFT seems to have adopted a policy of making partnerships with front-office vendors rather than try to develop their own product. Assuming that the front-office market is significantly bigger than the back-office market, how would PSFT forestall SEBL from overtaking them on market cap? For that matter, why would they care? We all seem to think that the two are in different markets, so comparing them doesn't make sense to me. Is the consensus here that PSFT will be trying to move into the front-office space?
