Ken, I can understand how a slowdown in subscriber growth is looked upon as negative. But I don't understand how an increase in ARPU can be ignored. According to my calculations an increase of $1 in ARPU will generate more income than an additional 25,000 subscribers.
2,400,000 customers X $12(annual increase in ARPU) = $28,800,000 25,000 additional customers at $69 ARPU ($828 annual) = 20,700,000
I know there are other factors to consider, but if todays action is primarily caused by the lowered subscriber growth relative to last quarter, it is unjustified, IMO.
Better days ahead,
