The Holy Grail...JD doesn't have it either! From the recent comments here, it seems to me that lots of folks are expecting JD to be able to provide market timing advice, i.e. warn them when to exit/enter specific markets. Is it really a surprise to discover that no one can provide such info, even a $200/yr newsletter? If that's that's the kind of advice you are looking for, JD's IW will be a disappointment. Also, remember that investment "styles" have periods of success and failure. JD has had some great years, and made some great recommendations, e.g. ERICY, STD, CWP. But not every rec is "right for you". You still need to exercise some personal judgement and evaluate each of his selections based on your risk tolerance and goals. I realize this all sounds "preachy", but get real! Take a long term view...in 3-5 years, I'm betting (literally) most of his selections will look great!
