Hi Ed,

No public news that I'm aware of Ed. But, I have heard from a "trusted source" that FST's independent reserve appraisals have just been completed and that the Strachan reserves will be discussed at the upcoming SEPAC sessions on October 29. Perhaps the engineer that did the calculations (or other insiders ??) liked the numbers that he came up with. I do know that I liked the ones that I cranked out a long time ago and NOTHING has changed from my vantage point (except for the market meltdown, of course). I anxiously await October 29.

Later,

P.S. -- An Alberta gas supply "shortfall" is a near certainty, even for just a "normal winter". Spot Prices will "rock" if winter is severe. Short term spots of $30.00/mcf in Chicago just a few winters back may look like bargains this year!! Sure hope that Apache gets the pipeline tie-in completed soon.
