Can anyone tell me the implications to SUNW of the growing popularity of the LINUX operating system? Thanks in advance. Long SUNW.

Unix works very well in the server space. NT is infecting from the bottom up since they own the desktop. Then along comes Linux further from the bottom sandwiching NT with no where for NT to go but out. The whole thing kind of looks like a rotten bologna sandwich on fresh whole wheat bread.

It should be nothing but good for Sun. There are many versions of Unix, HP, DEC, IBM, BSD, Santa Cruz, etc. Many are excelent OSs. Sun already has plenty of competition and Linux isn't gonna hurt that bad. I like the fact that college and high school kids can learn to program on it.
