Ms. Jacqueline Michael reports
The company has started a communications campaign designed to heighten its
visibility in industry and the public market.
Conac recently engaged the services of the following experienced
organizations and individuals to achieve its communications goals:
Century Communications of Vancouver has been brought on board as the
company's corporate communications counsel and will oversee all aspects of
corporate communications. Century's primary focus will initially be to work
with Conac in order to streamline and improve the company's communication
process with its audiences and the financial and media communities in North
America.
Century Communications will also be developing the communication tools to
augment the Maxwell Mercantile investor relations program.
In addition, Conac has enlisted the services of Ken Koo Creative Group of
Vancouver to provide both a product image overhaul and the development of
advertising materials for the company. The professional designers at Ken
Koo Creative Group have already begun reworking Conac's marketing materials
to enhance the image of the company and its innovative products. Ken Koo
Creative Group is an internationally recognized design firm with an
impressive client list that includes such organizations as Multiactive
Technologies, Metropolitan Hotels and Cambridge Shopping Centers.
Inspired by the creative new packaging designed by Ken Koo Creative Group,
the company has chosen to rename its line of financial and project
management software to further enhance product recognition in the
marketplace.
Conac is now marketing the following leading edge, Year 2000 compliant
products:
CONAC TRACKPOINT: Multiuser construction estimating system, single and
multi-user;
CONACAIM: Single user job cost accounting software, formerly Winlite;
CONACPIVOT: multiuser project and financial management software, formerly
WinPlus;
CONAC AXIS: Client server: Enterprise edition, formerly WinPro.
Conac has been actively expanding its North American operations to provide
the additional space and personnel needed for an anticipated increase in
product sales. The company's head office in Richmond, B.C. has been
expanded dramatically, with space provided for a large technical support
staff. Conac's Ontario facilities have also been enlarged to provide an
Eastern zone support centre for the United States and Canada.
Additionally, a new sales and marketing office has been opened in Redmond,
Washington, in order to take maximum advantage of the growing U.S. market
for its unique suite of products. The sales and marketing director for the
Redmond office was recruited from one of CONAC's main competitors and he in
turn has enlisted some of its leading sales people to join the Conac team.
The company's Alberta business partner has also been upgraded to a larger
space and product sales have already increased considerably.
As part of its business development strategy, Conac has begun establishing
key distribution partners throughout Canada and the United States. The
company is currently in the final stages of contract negotiations with
North American and international business partners to distribute Conac's
products in the United States. In addition, Conac is currently installing
the Axis software for the City of Saskatoon and the Vancouver International
Airport Services. The company has also experienced early market acceptance
in the new U.S. territory.
Conac intends to bring its products to market through international
distribution partners as well as directly through the company's various
sales offices and participation in the major industry trade shows, which
will introduce CONAC's products to hundreds of thousands of
visitors/participants in North America.
