ComputerWorld article in 10/12 issue (p.52) regarding pilot of Avistar's system at Silicon Valley Bank. Ironically, the banks CIO is named Robert Potts.
-Systems offer broadcast quality and use ISDN, but doesn't require an ISDN connection at each desktop.
- 150 video desktops (eventually) for a total cost of $2 mill.
- "Desktop videoconferencing is the obvious choice for specific applications such as portfolio management, telemedicine, distance learning and legal depositions."
- "Even if it only saves one first-class overseas trip for one person, it will pay for itself."

Not sure about that last statement - unless they buy a 747 every time they send someone overseas.
