Harry, thanks, and yes, it's been almost three years. During my first few months on SI, I used a moniker. I then took seriously Jules', and I think your reasoning on the thread that real names made for much better interchange, etc. So, I went "public".

He states that, "As a result of the mix shift toward the high end, x86 average selling prices are expected to decline just slightly over the next 5 years, even though midrange and workstation average selling prices are forecast to increase."
Do you know if Andy Neff is lumping Merced, McKinley, etc. into this x86 ASP roadmap? I don't think those 64 bit guys would be correctly called x86, do you? If they're not in there, ASP's should get higher again in 01 and 02, I would think.
