FP... I thought it was a finance company? Isn't it in the same sector as ACF, CFN INCC, CIT, AAC? It's in my database as a 'severely beaten down stock'. Are we talking about the same stock: FIRSTPLUS Financial Group is a specialized consumer finance company that originates, purchases, services & sells consumer finance receivables. For the comparable 6 months ended 6/30/98, revenues rose 38% to $402.8M. Net income fell 32% to $47.7M. Revenues reflect higher interest income due to an increase in the average loans held for sale balance. Net income was offset by increased operating expenses due to increased marketing and advertising costs.
