Canadian Crude Separators Inc. (CCS) announced today the
completion of its newest Class II Oilfield landfill near
Fox Creek, Alberta. Completed on schedule and on budget, this
first phase of development will provide capacity for 300,000
tonnes of waste disposal, with future phases providing an
additional 1,000,000 tonnes of capacity. Although the landfill
design exceeds EUB regulatory requirements for a Class II
landfill, the facility is licensed for and will accept non-
dangerous solid oilfield wastes, consistent with Class II
landfill disposal criteria. The landfill is fully operational and
is located approximately 9 km east of Fox Creek on Highway 43.

The completion of a second landfill is a continuation of the
CCS's commitment to provide safe, reliable and cost-effective
disposal of processed oilfield waste solids and contaminated
soils. Superior landfill design, coupled with comprehensive
operating policies and procedures, CCS safely provides
environmentally responsible solutions with the goal of minimizing
the future liability of the waste generator.

CCS is a publicly traded (TSE - CCR), dynamic Calgary-based
company committed to, "Safely Providing Environmentally
Responsible Solutions" to its customers. In operation since 1984,
CCS has grown to 13 oilfield waste processing, emulsion
treatment, and disposal facilities throughout Western Canada. CCS
also operates 20 service rigs under the name of Concord Well
Servicing.
