MVN, thanks for the post. It's a relief to read of some sanity injected into this nonsensical market. PeopleSoft has continued to execute well this year, and growth far outpaces SAP and BAAN. I expect that the company will continue to perform well in the coming quarters. The key will be the growth in deferred revenues which gives us an excellent window into the future. I am so convinced that this stock is a steal at these prices that I sold some other holdings to buy again this morning. This is the second time I've bought PSFT since that horrible downdraft.

If you think about it for a moment you will realize that the probability of either a bad earnings report is virtually nil. Duffeld & Co. gave a very upbeat presentation not that long ago. If there were bad news in the offing that act would open them up to all kinds of derivative lawsuits alleging fraud and misrepresentation. My conclusion is that the worst that will happen is a lowered growth estimate going forward. My best guess is that this will not happen. I think, instead that we will receive a vigorous defense of the company's prospects and an explication for why the ERP world is not coming to an end.

I think that these prices represent an exceptional buying opportunity that even exceeds the opportunity when PSFT bough Red Pepper. I think that a year from now there will be many who end up kicking themselves at not having bought at this opportunity.

TTFN,
CTC
