However, FWIW, so long as BAY remained independent, the speculation of being taken over would help to range bound the stock. And psychology is that a takeover should net a gain for the takeoveree, not a loss. Therefore, I hate to sound like a smart alec, I saw this coming, even if I think it has no merit.
p.s. Wendy, saw you conversing with Zeev, Uncle Al has lowered the rate by another 25 basis point. My bet is one more coming comes Nov FOMC. In turn, Canada should be able to lower her rates also
