All, Just to let you know, and in the way of disclosure, I'm out of SFE for now. Will definitely be back in the not-to-distant future (barring something hideous). But, I do not think Oct. 20 is going to be a love-fest. What can they say? They will either make earnings (no surprise) or they will not (BIG SURPRISE). Either way, they will not make 2 more offerings this year, and that is the bottom line reason I own them. Today's action and Fed rate cut aside (what have they done for me lately?), SFE should be lower in a week. I bought CATP, so I don't need SFE as a proxy (it's perfectly capable of going down on its own). Still own many other Safeguard companies. I'll be following closely and posting NAV info.
