Alex, Nice to see you posting again. Maria just noted (CNBC) that a lot of big sell-offs in the Dow were a result of big holders starting to put money in small caps. That would be a refreshing start to the new year. I heard a stat yesterday that over 1/3 of small caps are still 30% off their highs of the year. As you alluded to however (Y2K) some of them deserve to be off. I still think tech stocks will be the place to be, in a very selective way. We just have to find the entry points. Good luck Alex.
