Dennis, Hi!!!
RE: Throwing the Bull, I have read on this thread AND msft thread.....some of the bears just don't believe what he is saying. That is what I meant.
I just had a very interesting article sent to me from someone who lurks this thread....unique article depicting the roll of Kevin Rollins and the rest of the management team...what was of interest was how he portrayed the role of the rest of the team...
<P>AUSTIN, Texas -- Smart leaders hire smart managers. Perhaps that is what separates Michael Dell from some of his peers. While Dell weaves the vision for his company, it is up to Kevin Rollins, one of two vice-chairmen. Rollins runs half of Dell's worldwide operations, including the Americas region and the Pacific Rim, while Mort Tofler, the other vice-chairman, runs the rest. Michael [Dell] really has hired Mort and myself to run the business, so he can spend his time thinking about customers, the company, technology, and where it's going.
So when someone portrays Dell in a negative sense or cried out that it is overvalued...one single question comes immediately to mind....who are you gonna trust...? Their vision....? or the one that Kevin is portraying .....??
Best, kemble
