Zoltan,

Unfortunately, the Zogby poll does not show the trend on the single most important question, is the generic congressional lead of the Democrats increasing or decreasing? I think it's going up and Zogby (for whatever reason) decided not to publish it. All he says is that the Dems lead by 3% (with a 3.5 +/- margin for error), but they need to make up 5%. I don't view that as bad news for Dems at all. Also, if you look at the President's numbers, they have barely moved one way or the other at all for 6 months. I don't see it either as a mandate for the President to remain in office or as an instruction to throw the bum out. Finally, I don't understand why these pollsters feel the need to spin their own numbers. Let them speak for themselves.

Doughboy.
