I see you take offense easily, for someone who is so quick with an insult himself. Please take it easy. You'll pop a gasket this way.

As to referendums, I meant referendum the way it is meant in many states - an actual vote. In some states this is known as a ballot initiative.

Well, more blah blah from you about that. You must be a nuclear physicist, eh? Or maybe a constitutional scholar.

I say try any politician that lies to the public about matters of consequence. I don't believe in breaking promises at all, when it could have been done otherwise. If a politician says he can lower my taxes, I expect him to try to do that, for instance. Or just shut up about it. Then we would have campaigns based on doable ideas, not ideological rubbish.
