Gregor,
By all means preach the gospel in season and out. Daily to an individual that will listen. There comes a time however, when casting our pearls before those that would mock the saving grace of our Lord and openly profess their affiliation to that which we know to be antichrist, even if done in ignorance, is detrimental. The Lord has reminded me of those verses in Titus and disobedience that provides a platform for blasphemy. You are very right in that there is a distinction between a heretic and being lost in sin. Both will die in their sins without Christ but... The danger of herecy... Matthew 23:15 "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves." I'm of the opinion that some of these guys even knew who Christ was but fought against Him and preached otherwise so I'm lumping them in the heretical corner. For the unrepentant sinner not spouting heretical indignation, II Timothy 2:24-26 applies to God's servants and their witness, not the admonition in Titus . (I need to read that one about 2 million times before I go out the door each day.) I have not read any of the accusations made against you on the financial thread you mentioned. God bless you in His service.
